Frequently Asked Questions
How RivalForge AI works, who it's for, and how to get the most out of it.
Who is this for?
RivalForge AI was built for indie developers, solo founders, product managers, and early-stage startup teams who want to deeply understand their competitive landscape before building or launching.
You share an app or business idea → we research the web and analyze real user complaints → you get clear insights on what to do differently and how to win.
How does this work?
You describe your app or business idea in the chat.
Our AI first performs deep web search for market trends, competitors, and insights. Then it pulls and analyzes real-time user reviews from Google Play and App Store (especially low-rated ones).
Everything is combined in the conversation so the AI can give you powerful, actionable analysis: competitor weaknesses, user frustrations, and concrete recommendations to make your idea stronger.
How is this different from ChatGPT?
ChatGPT is great, but it doesn't have live access to real user reviews or up-to-date web research or our curated database.
RivalForge AI combines real-time web search + actual customer complaints, then turns them into focused, competitor-aware insights. It's like having a dedicated market researcher who actually read thousands of angry reviews for you.
What kind of questions can I ask?
You can ask anything related to your idea and the competition.
Best results come when you:
• Mention a specific competitor (e.g. "Notion vs my note-taking app")
• Describe your idea clearly
• Ask for pain points, missing features, or improvement suggestions
Or just talk with our AI and it will lead the way.
How do I get access?
Just enter your email and start with our 1 free deep analysis trial.
No credit card required to begin.
Does it work for physical products as well?
Currently focused on mobile apps, web apps, and SaaS products because our strongest data comes from Google Play and App Store reviews.
For completely physical products or non-software ideas, the web research part still works well, but review analysis will be more limited.
